01 "Snoopy's Cat Fight - Shorts: Woodstock, Rupert and the Tiger's Eye, Sally, Peppermint Patty, Piano, Blanket" September 17, 1983
In Woodstock, Snoopy throws a basketball into Woodstock's nest but he is angry and he throws it into Snoopy. In Rupert and the Tiger's Eye, Rupert and Frances discover the world of the Tiger's eye. In Sally, she gives reports and does Show and Tell. In Peppermint Patty, Peppermint Patty annoys Charlie Brown. In Piano, Schroeder is not happy when Lucy criticizes Beethoven and his music. In Blanket, Linus gives his blanket to Eudora.
02 "Snoopy: Team Manager - Shorts: Shoveling, Rerun, Lost Blanket, The Manager" September 24, 1983
In Shoveling, Linus and Snoopy try to help Lucy plant her garden. In Rerun, Rerun sings and recites poetry while he rides on the back on the back of his mom's bike. InLost Blanket, Linus's grandmother is coming so Linus mails his blanket to himself but it does not return. The whole time Snoopy had it. In The Manager, Snoopy is the new manager of the baseball team.
03 "Linus and Lucy - Shorts: Sally and Snoopy, Football, Beads, Love, Snowballs, Kite Flying, Linus and Lucy, Baseball" October 1, 1983
In Sally and Snoopy, Sally does a report on Snoopy and gets an A. In Football, Linus tries to teach Sally to kick the football but it runs out of air while Lucy taunts Charlie Brown to kick the football. In Beads, Lucy makes "love beads" for Schroeder. In Love, Lucy does not know if Schroeder may like her. In Snowballs, Schroeder and Charlie Brown throw a snowball at Linus' head but he spins the snowball with his blanket and throws it to them and Lucy makes snow bunnies. In Kite Flying, Charlie Brown tries to take up flying paper planes but he is unsuccessful. In Linus and Lucy, Lucy tries to take out Snoopy's and Linus' slivers and makes Linus shower her with compliments before she gives him a piece of toast. In Baseball, Lucy thinks she could see the ocean and hits a home run.
04 "Lucy vs. the World - Shorts: Straws, Lucy Baseball, Peppermint Patty, Daisy Hill Puppy Cup, Linus and Lucy" October 8, 1983
In Straws, Charlie Brown and Lucy are drinking lemonade and talking. However, Charlie grows sickened when Lucy does not realize that Snoopy has sipped from the same straw she is using. In Lucy Baseball, Charlie Brown has grown fed up with Lucy's incompetence towards the baseball team, and kicks her off the team. Lucy badmouths the team through the school paper, and resorts to complaining from the sidelines. In Peppermint Patty, Peppermint Patty stays at Charlie Brown's house while her dad is out of town, utilizing Snoopy's doghouse as a 'guest cottage.' In Daisy Hill Puppy Cup, Snoopy finds himself in the running for the prestigious prize, and forces the neighborhood kids to nominate him. In Linus and Lucy, Lucy throws Linus out of the house, only to discover that their Mom has given birth to a baby brother (a then un-named Rerun Van Pelt).
05 "Linus' Security Blanket - Shorts: Snoopy and Woodstock, Sally, Piano, Baseball, Sunsets, Football, Security Blanket, Kite, Woodstock, Clinging Snoopy" October 15, 1983
In Snoopy and Woodstock, Snoopy thinks The Cat Next Door has got Woodstock. A fight ensues, but it turns out that the cat was playing with a yellow glove. In Sally, Sally tries to tell jokes in front of her class. In Piano, Lucy bothers Schroeder. In Baseball, Charlie Brown refuses to call the ballgame on account of rain, even though waves form around his pitcher's mound. In Sunsets, Lucy psycho-analyzes Charlie Brown's personality based on sunrises and sunsets. In Football, Lucy taunts Charlie Brown to kick the football by pretending to fall asleep. In Security Blanket, Linus gives Snoopy his blanket, in hopes he can break his habit but then Snoopy makes it into a sports coat. In Kite, Charlie Brown gets tangled in his kite string, and hung upside-down from a tree (which was used in A Charlie Brown Celebration). InWoodstock (from It's an Adventure, Charlie Brown), Snoopy and Woodstock try to catch an afternoon nap. In Clinging Snoopy, Snoopy begins clinging to anyone who believes dogs have made the world a better place. Unfortunately, Charlie Brown gets saddled with the grateful beagle.
06 "Snoopy: Man's Best Friend - Shorts: Kiss, Peppermint Patty, Charlie Brown is Lost!, Snoopy" October 22, 1983
In Kiss, Snoopy tries to kiss Lucy while she is sad. In Peppermint Patty, Snoopy stays with Peppermint Patty but cannot get off her water bed. In Charlie Brown is Lost!, Charlie Brown tells to Linus the story about when Snoopy took Woodstock and his friends to camp. In Snoopy, Snoopy blows Linus into Patty's pool after he reads The Three Little Pigs and pretends he is the World War I Flying Ace and Sally has a new motto "Speak softly and carry a beagle"
07 "Snoopy the Psychiatrist - Shorts: Charlie Brown & Lucy, Kite, The Dance, Thibault" October 29, 1983
In Charlie Brown and Lucy, Charlie Brown gets good advice from Lucy the psychiatrist and her replacement Snoopy. In Kite, Charlie Brown loses his hat and the kite booms into pieces like a balloon. In "The Dance," Peppermint Patty invites Snoopy to a school dance. In Thibault, Peppermint Patty has recruited a kid named Thibault for her baseball team. However, he rudely refuses to return Charlie Brown's baseball glove, and angrily rejects the notion that girls should play baseball by insulting Marcie. His attitude leads to Marcie slugging him a good one.
08 "You Can't Win, Charlie Brown - Shorts: Shaking, Spaghetti, Football, Baseball, Toast, Snow Sculpture, Sit, School, Kite, The Blanket, Sally" November 5, 1983
In Shaking, Snoopy demonstrates the shaking method of training puppies, when Linus doubts a puppy could learn anything from being shaken. In Spaghetti, Woodstock comments on Snoopy's dinner by discussing worms. In Football, Sally learns a danger by throwing a ball into Woodstock's nest. In Baseball, Charlie Brown and his friends win their first game of the season thanks to Rerun. In Toast, Linus offers his burnt toast to Woodstock. In Snow Sculpture, Lucy and Linus make snow sculptures. In Sit, Charlie Brown tries to teach Snoopy on how to sit and heel. In Kite, Lucy helps Charlie Brown fly his kite and Charlie Brown ends up making the kite get caught onto Snoopy's doghouse. This was used again in A Charlie Brown Celebration. In Blanket, Linus tries to live without his blanket for two weeks. In Sally, Sally tries to tell jokes in class. Note: The same footage with Sally was used in It's an Adventure, Charlie Brown.
09 "The Lost Ballpark - Shorts: Crawl, Marcie, Truffles, The Lost Ballfield" November 12, 1983
In Crawl, Lucy tries to 'help' Charlie Brown walk properly. In Marcie, Peppermint Patty and Marcie go to camp, where Marcie fends off the advancements of a love-struck boy named Floyd who keeps calling her lambcake. In Truffles, Linus and Snoopy go truffle-hunting, and find a little girl named Truffles. Soon, Linus and Snoopy are in a quarrel over who loves her more. In The Lost Ballfield, Charlie Brown is in shock when he finds out that he cannot play on the vacant lot used for their ballgames. The Lost Ballpark also is a first in the annals of Peanuts' cartoons: the debut of Snoopy's brother, Spike.
10 "Snoopy's Football Career - Shorts: Gold Stars, Blanket, Piano, Teaching" November 19, 1983
In Gold Stars, Peppermint Patty is sad that she has not received a gold star for any of her class assignments. In Blanket, Linus deals with Snoopy's constant filching of his blanket. In Piano, Lucy grows tired of Schroeder ignoring her, and throws his piano into the kite-eating tree. In Teaching, Linus, Sally, Snoopy and Woodstock work on learning the game of football and Peppermint Patty teaches Marcie.
11 "Chaos in the Classroom - Shorts: Sally at School, Football, School Patrol, Blanket, The Team" November 26, 1983
In Sally at School, Sally takes Woodstock's nest for Show and Tell and breaks a kid's ruler. In Football, Sally tries to kick the football and Charlie Brown makes a little landing after Lucy pulls the football away and Marcie and Peppermint Patty play football. In School Patrol, Peppermint Patty gets mad when Marcie is a traffic patrol. InBlanket, the blanket attacks Lucy. In The Team, Snoopy's dish is used for second base and Charlie Brown tries to teach Lucy to bat.
12 "It's That Team Spirit, Charlie Brown - Shorts: Vulture, Blanket, Peppermint Patty, Rerun, Rainy Day" December 3, 1983
In Vulture, Snoopy pretends he is a vulture, leaping from trees. In Blanket, Snoopy steals Linus's blanket and Linus steals Snoopy's supper dish before they each return each others' respective prized possessions. In Peppermint Patty, Peppermint Patty refuses to go to school and sits on Snoopy's doghouse. Marcie drags her down and breaks Snoopy's house. Marcie then tells Peppermint Patty that Snoopy is a beagle. In Rerun, Rerun observes the world while he is riding on the back on the mother's bike. In Rainy Day, Charlie Brown pitches a ball with the cups and swirls and Lucy also lands and the cups are a mess.
13 "Lucy Loves Schroeder - Shorts: Kite-Eating Tree, Sally, Camp, Lucy Loves Schroeder, Scared Snoopy" December 10, 1983
In Kite-Eating Tree, Charlie Brown goes to Lucy's psychiatry booth for advice on fighting the kite eating tree. In Sally, Snoopy pretends to be The World I Flying Ace and steals important papers which are really Sally's report for school. In Camp, Charlie Brown gets sent home from camp for being a troublemaker while Peppermint Patty tells Linus how she cried when she saw the Little Red Haired Girl. In Lucy Loves Schroeder, Lucy breaks up with Schroeder and puts Schroeder's piano in the washer and dryer. In Scared Snoopy, Snoopy cannot pay his psychiatry bill after he sees Lucy at her booth because he has been hearing noises at night.
14 "Snoopy and the Giant - Shorts: Snoopy's Foot, Giant, Rerun" September 14, 1985
In Snoopy's Foot, Snoopy ends up breaking his foot and has to wear a cast, which causes a problem when Peppermint Patty wants Snoopy to play for her team in the next game. In Giant, Woodstock's farming skills cause a beanstalk to sprout into the sky, where he and Snoopy encounter a cookie-hoarding giant. In Rerun, the youngest Van Pelt has to deal with an odd jack-in-the-box, his Mom's cycling skills, and a crush on a little girl who keeps changing her name.
15 "Snoopy's Brother Spike - Shorts: The Pelicans, Great Pumpkin, Spike" September 21, 1985
In The Pelicans, Peppermint Patty recruits Charlie Brown to sell popcorn for her team, and wear their team mascot's costume. In Great Pumpkin, Linus, Sally and Snoopy await his arrival, while Peppermint Patty and Charlie Brown go bowling. In Spike, Snoopy's brother comes for a visit, and is helped to get in shape to fight the cat next door.
16 "Snoopy's Robot - Shorts: Snoopy's Robot, Linus and the Blanket, Friends" September 28, 1985
In Snoopy's Robot, the gang visits a computer camp, where Snoopy encounters a high-tech robot. In Linus and the Blanket, Linus tries to take Lucy's advice and give up his blanket. In Friends, Peppermint Patty and Marcie deal with the fact that they both may be in love with Charlie Brown.
17 "Peppermint Patty's School Days - Shorts: School Days, Snoopy's Trick, Snoopy's Flight" October 5, 1985
In School Days, Peppermint Patty and Marcie deal with the day-to-day issues of attending public school. In Snoopy's Trick, Snoopy surprises Linus with his 'Cheshire Beagle' disappearing trick. In Snoopy's Flight, Snoopy pilots his doghouse to help Schroeder get to a summer music camp.
18 "Sally's Sweet Babboo - Shorts: The Play, Sweet Babboo!, Snoopy's Story" October 12, 1985
In The Play, Charlie Brown writes an essay about the previous Christmas, where the entire gang took part in a rather disjointed Christmas Play. In Sweet Babboo!, the Peanuts gang deals with Valentine's Day, and unrequited love. In Snoopy's Story, Peppermint Patty writes a school essay about Snoopy's many exploits.
